After my chemically imbalanced ex-fiancee dumped me by faking her own death, I started writing. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises (where everyone gets drunk with wine on every other page) and trying to get over a lost love, I, much like Hemingway’s characters, pickled my brain. The result of one and a half years of steady beer consumption: Salmon, Broads and Beer.
The first issue, though full of drunken angst, cut to the heart of what really matters most with Northwest salmon fishermen – fish, women and brew. Since then, we at Salmon, Broads and Beer have refined our methods in those three areas, empowering our readers with keys to success, whether on the fishing grounds, at the bar, or in the back seat.
Salmonbroadsandbeer.com now makes this valuable information available to the world, and makes interaction with our readers so much easier! Please continue with us on our journey!

The Building of Salmonbroadsandbeer.com
It was with great concern that I learned of the plight of Salmon, Broads & Beer. The tech bubble that had brought down so many substantial companies (boo.com and theglobe.com come to mind) had taken its toll as well on this great Northwest publication. An energy crises in California, the stock market fallout and a looming congressional anti-trust investigation threatened the very existence of Salmon Broads and Beer. Fortunately the staff at SalmonBB saw this turn of events not as a crisis, but as opportunity. And thus the decision was made – to take Salmon, Broads & Beer to an even larger audience on the Internet.
